Scholarship Offer
For the academic year 2012-2013, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines would like to finance two Chinese students to study in the Netherlands. The sponsorship will be delivered as living allowances to the winner(s) in the agreed study period. Each scholarship amounts to EUR 5,000.
Designated Programmes
The KLM Scholarship is available to Master programmes in the following areas:
- Business Administration
- General Management Programme
- MBA programme
- Other business programmes, with a focus on Marketing and/or Sales
Designated Universities
Students applying for the aforementioned programmes in the following institutions are preferred.
- Nyenrode Business University
- University of Amsterdam Business School (ABS)
- Rotterdam School of Management (RSM), Erasmus University Rotterdam
- TiasNimbas Business School, Tilburg University
- Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Maastricht University
- Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Tilburg University
Students who apply for universities out of the list will not be able to apply for the KLM Scholarship.
Application Requirements
- Chinese citizen
- Formal working experience is not a must, but preferred; experience in internship and part-time job is compulsory
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields
- IELTS 6.5, or iBT TOEFL 91
- GPA 3.0 out of 4.0, or 80% out of 100%
- Satisfy other requirements set by the university applied
Application Materials
- Completely filled OTS online application form
- Resume in English
- Copy of degree certificates and transcripts in English
- Copy of IELTS or TOEFL score sheet
- One motivation letter to explain the reason to apply for the scholarship
- 2 letters of reference in English
- Copy of the passport
Deadline to apply for the OTS KLM Scholarship is 1st April 2012
Selection Procedure
Pre-selection (April 2nd – 6th) by Neso China
2nd-round selection (mid April, 2012): face-to-face interview at KLM Beijing office
Result notification (1st May 2012): winners are informed by Neso China through email and phone call
Scholarship awarding ceremony (mid June 2012) in Beijing
