Scholarship Offer

Leiden University provides 3 (three) Scholarships of EUR 10,000 each, which will count towards the payment of the international tuition. The scholarships are only valid for the academic year 2012-2013, for the Master programmes starting in September 2012.

Requirements for OTS applicants:

1) Applicants must submit an original report providing the official TOEFL iBT or IELTS (academic version) along with their application for admission to the study programme.

2) Applicants must satisfy the on-line admission requirements as described on the website of Leiden University: www.leidenuniv.nl/en/studyinleiden/practical

OTS Application Checklist:

Completely filled in OTS online application form
Certified copies of diploma’s, with certified English translation;
Certified copies of transcript/grade list. These transcripts have to be embossed with the issuing school’s seal and signature, with certified English translation;
Two recommendation letters
Proof of English proficiency (Required if your native or predominant language is not English): Minimum IELTS score 6.5, TOEFL iBT 90. N.B.: some programmes require a higher overall score (i.e. IELTS score 7.0, TOEFL iBT 100. Check for the minimum requirements per programme: www.mastersinleiden.nl).
A personal resume in English
Motivation letter – why your choose Leiden University, why you should be awarded the scholarship
Photocopy of your passport (page with your personal information)
Admission letter from Leiden University (if applicable)

All the aforementioned documents should be submitted through the OTS online application system to Neso China before April 1^st 2012.

Application Dates:

Deadline for admission in Leiden University: March 1^st 2012

Deadline for OTS application: April 1^st 2012

The OTS applicants should submit their complete application file online for admission to Leiden University before March 1^st 2012 and indicate that they are applying for the OTS. The student should submit the scholarship application, including the required supporting documents to Neso China before April 1^st 2010.
