Scholarship offer:

Partial tuition fee waiver for up to 4 qualified Chinese students for the academic year 2012/2013 through Neso China to enroll in any of the following Master’s programmes at TiasNimbas Business School:

-       MBA Programme: http://www.tiasnimbas.edu/FTMBA

-       MSc in Business Administration (MScBA with specialization in Marketing or Financial Management): http://www.tiasnimbas.edu/FTMSc

The total value of this scholarship amounts to 25,000 Euros, which divides into 15,000 Euros for the MBA Programme for up to 2 qualified candidates and 10,000 Euros for the MScBA Programme for up to 2 qualified candidates.

Application Procedures

1. Make sure you meet the following requirements:

-         Chinese citizen

-         Minimum of 3 years post-graduate work experiences (only required to the MBA applicants)

-         A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any fields

-         IELTS 6.5, or TOEFL iBT 90 or TOEFL CBT 292

-         GMAT 600 or above

-         GPA 3.0 out of 4.0, or 80% out of 100%

-     Complete TiasNimbas online application

* Students who already receive one of the TiasNimbas Scholarships will not be entitled to receive the Orange Tulip Scholarship (OTS).

2. Documents to submit

-     Filled OTS online application form

-     TiasNimbas online application form

-     Resume in English

-     Copies of degree certificates and transcripts in English

-     2 letters of reference

-     Copy of the passport (personal information page)

-     Copy of the English Proficiency and GMAT results

-     Scholarship essay: Please write a 500 word essay stating the following three topics. First,

demonstrate your leadership potential and prove yourself as a future leader. Second, state

your long-term career goal and why you believe the TiasNimbas graduate programme will help

you achieve your career goal. Third, explain how well you can represent the Netherlands and

the TiasNimbas Business School as a distinguished TiasNimbas ambassador.

3. Scholarship Interview

All scholarship interviews are by invitation only. Candidates invited for an interview are reviewed by the Admissions Board of TiasNimbas. Scholarship interviews will be arranged either in person or by telephone in April 2012. Candidates who are invited to the interviews will be notified in advance by CSCSE-Nuffic Neso China.

Our goal in the admissions process is to identify and enroll individuals with strong leadership potential. Individuals who also will enhance the diversity in their classroom and can contribute in a positive way to their peer-group.

4.  Results

The results of OTS TiasNimbas Business School Scholarship will be published on the website of Neso China around May 1st 2012. The OTS applicants should have received the TiasNimbas Acceptance Letter before 1 May 2012; otherwise their applications for OTS will be disqualified and cannot be deferred to next year.
