Northwest University, founded in 1902, is the oldest institution of higher learning in Northwest China, and one of the leading comprehensive universities in China. It is also one of the key institutions of higher education listed in the construction of the State "Project 211". The university is located in Xi'an, a famous ancient capital of China and the heart of ancient Chinese culture. The University has 22 colleges and departments, offering 67 undergraduate programs, 91 Master's programs, and 37 doctoral programs. The University has a student body by over 18,000, including over 150 international students.
