IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION ABOUT STUDENT MVV- From the Netherlands Consulate General -Shanghai 上海领馆关于学生签证的紧急通知

The Netherlands Consulate General is prepared to make the following exception during the month of August to use Friday morning (whereas the visasection normally is closed for the public) between 09.00 – 12.00 for students applying for MVV. This would mean that students can come to the Consulate on a first come first serve basis, without an appointment. The Consulate can process maximum 60 applications in one morning. The unlucky ones that arrive too late have another opportunity a week later. Also they can keep on checking the Consulate’s appointmentsystem at http://shanghai-visa.redroxx.eu if there are any cancellations.

 

Requirements are:

 1) Travel document with validity of more than 6 months after the day of departure;

2)  Completed visa application form, which has been signed. Note: applicants are required to mention the intended day of departure;

3)  Two (2) passport photos, one attached to the visa application form and one NOT attached (to be scanned by the Consulate);

4)  Original birth certificate legalised by the Chinese government PLUS one copy of the legalised birth certificate;

5)  RMB 280 for the legalisation of the birth certificate by the Consulate General.

 

Applications that do not meet these requirements cannot be processed. Applicants will be turned away immediately. The Consulate hopes the students understand that this is necessary in order to enable the staff to process a large nummber of applications in a limited time frame.

Please note that those applicants who wish to have their visa issued by other offices such as the Netherlands Embassy in Beijing or the Consulate General in Hong Kong, can request this by e-mail to the Consulate General in Shanghai mentioning their full name, date of birth and university in The Netherlands.

荷兰王国驻上海总领事馆决定在今年8月份的每个星期五早上的9点-12点为申请办理MVV签证的学生提供以下特例服务（原则上签证处在星期五不对外开放受理签证）。学生不需要做预约，可以直接在星期五早上以先到先受理的方式来办理签证。通常在一个早上领事馆可以最多处理60个签证的申请。晚到的学生请于下周同一时间来办理签证。同时学生也可以经常在我们的网上签证预约系统上查询是否有其他签证的预约取消。具体网址是Http://shanghai-visa.redroxx.eu.

 

学生需要准备如下材料：

 

  1. 超过离预计出境日6个月以上有效期的旅行证件
  2. 填写完整并签署好的签证申请表格。请注意：申请人需要填写拟定的离境日期。
  3. 2张护照照片，1张贴在签证申请表格上；另1张请不要贴，是作为领馆扫描用。
  4. 经过中国政府认证的出生公证书原件和复印件一份
  5. 人民币280元，领馆认证出生公证书的费用

 

 

上述材料不足的申请，领馆将不予受理。同时申请人会被要求即时离开。希望大家理解这一点对于我们在有限的时间内处理大量的签证是很有必要的 。

 

请注意如果学生希望在其他的地方，如在荷兰王国驻北京大使馆或香港领事馆办理签证，可以通过电子邮件向我们提出申请。请在邮件中提供本人全名、出生日期和在荷兰就读的学校名称。
