Stenden university officially announces the new tuition fees for the academic year 2009/2010.In the mean time, it has developed a policy to attract more talented students, which offers certain benefits, such as an early bird discount and a flow compensation.

Exemption of the increase in tuition fee
1. BA or MA students enrolled in February 2009 intake
Students who enrolled in February 2009 or earlier will be excluded from the abovementioned increase of tuition fees for their whole study period of their current BA (4 year) or MA (1 year) study at Stenden university.
2. Students enrolled in an English Language Course in February 2009 or September 2008
The group of students who currently study the Short or Long English Language Course will also be exempted from the new price strategy when they enroll the BA or MA programme in September 2009 or February 2010.
3. BA or MA students applied for February 2009 intake before January 1st 2009 enrolling September 2009
Students who applied for the February 2009 intake before January 1st 2009, though enrolling in September 2009 will be excluded from the abovementioned increase of tuition fee for their whole study period of their current BA (4 year) or MA (1 year) study at Stenden university.
4. English Language Course students applied for February 2009 intake before January 1st 2009 enrolling September 2009
Students enrolling one of the English Language Courses in September 2009 and applied for the February 2009 intake before January 1st, will obtain the current fees for the English Language Course.
When these students successfully pass the Language test and enroll the BA or MA programme in February 2010 or September 2010, they will obtain the current fees for their whole study period of their BA (4 year) or MA (1 year) programme.
Scholarship policy 2009/2010
In March 2009 Stenden university will announce the differentiated scholarship policy for academic year 2009/2010.
Benefits to students 2009/2010
Besides the changes in tuition fee, Stenden university also has developed a policy to stimulate and attract more talented students to the university. One of these tools is the abovementioned scholarship policy which will be announced soon.
