Day for International Student - DIS 2009

中国荷兰校友会（NANC）于2005年2月成立，它是一个由生活和居住在中国，并曾经在荷兰高等教育机构学习或进行过研究的中国校友创办，为所有中国，荷兰及其他国家校友服务的机构。

校友会得到了众多荷兰高等院校的资助；作为常设的官方非赢利性组织，中国荷兰校友会致力于为中国地区的荷兰校友提供一个相互联络与交流的平台，同时加强和促进校友与母校之间的联系；加强他们在专业或学术上的联络，最终促进中荷国际关系！校友会自成立以来在中国各大城市定期组织校友活动，同时在荷兰也积极开展、组织并参与各项活动。

今年荷兰高等教育国际交流协会‘Nuffic’将在11月7日在海牙举办国际学生日（Day For International Student – DIS 2009），所以参加Holland Alumni Conference的校友还将被邀请参加今年的DIS 2009。届时将会有超过2000人参加！更多的信息请随时登陆Nuffic的DIS‘09以及‘中国荷兰校友会’的官方网站。

To share their experiences with current international students and to promote the Holland Alumni networks, conference participants will also attend the Day of the International Student. This event will take place right after the alumni conference on 7 November at the World Forum, The Hague.

Goal of the conference

The event, around the theme of 'Connecting Cultures', is held every year to make international students feel welcome and to show them that it is appreciated that they chose the Netherlands as their study destination. The visiting students can meet other international students following the same courses and also other students from their home country that they may otherwise never have met.

At this national event you can meet students from all over the world at the DIS plaza. There will be lots of activities such as workshops and lectures, followed by drinks, dinner and a party.

Why the DIS?

The Day of the International Student is organized by Nuffic to express our appreciation to the international students in higher education who have chosen the Netherlands as the place where they will further their education.
