Benefits per scholarship

Tuition fee: Partial tuition fee waiver
Non-EEA Master’s students will pay €4,450 instead of the full tuition fee for all Master’s programs except at the Tilburg School of Theology; students of Tilburg School of Theology will pay a tuition fee of €2,092

OTS (China) recipients will also receive a Holland Scholarship. The amount of the Holland Scholarship for 2019-2020 will be €5,000. Students can only be selected for the Holland Scholarship if they achieved excellent study results in the relevant (under)graduate program. As an indication, the student must have graduated (or can prove that s/he will graduate) with an average GPA of at least 80% or must be among the top 10% of his or her class. Scholarship applications must be submitted to NESO China by April 1, 2019. Those applying for a Scholarship must apply for admission to Tilburg University by March 1,2019 at the latest. Please note that, when awarding the scholarships, preference will be given to those who are either unconditionally admitted to a Master’s program OR those whose graduation is the only outstanding admission condition.

Additional Information

Applicants currently living in the Netherlands, including Tilburg University Pre-Master students accepted onto a Master’s program, cannot be considered for this Scholarship.

  • Academic requirement: Bachelor's degree 
  • English level: TOEFL iBT 90-91; TOEFL paper-based 575; TOEFL computer-based 233; IELTS 6.5 (minimum score of 6 on all parts); Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English: C; Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English: all grades accepted 
  • GPA: as an indication, the student must have graduated (or can prove that he or she will graduate) with an average result of at least 80% or must be among the top 10% of his or her class.
  • Some programmes require: GMAT 600; GRE 75% (check here)
